Warning This isn't a tutorial on how to use 3mle 2 This is simply a look at the interface as this program is harder for some.
This picture is simply an overview of how 3mle 2 looks
there are different instruments in the selection, you just have to click the down arrow next to the instrument name to select which kind of instrument you would like to hear.
Now you can click on the keys to hear a note played, but it will not add it to the mml.
Remember, 3mle 2 does support the sounds that are in Mabinogi, however, you will have to set up the Midi sound settings first on it before you can hear it like it sounds like in Mabinogi. Hope this helps someone who uses 3mle.
How to change midi settings to Mabinogi settings (instrument wise)
Step One: Click on Settings and click on preferences highlighted in the picture.
Step Two: Click on the DLS Playback tab highlighted in green first, we will come to the midi tab later.
Step Three: It should be the same for every user who plays Mabinogi that is if you don't use multiple hard drives and install it elsewhere. Regardless of where it is, you have to locate your MSXspirit.dls file which can be easily found in the mabinogi folders.
Use Windows search to find the file if you are having trouble locating it.
Final Step: Click back onto the Midi Tab and click the down arrow and select Microsoft DirectMusic DLS and click the Ok button at the bottom of the preference window.
Warning, when you click ok, your program will freeze for a few seconds. It will increase loading time of the program so don't freak out when it doesn't respond. Just sit and wait for it to load.
