Tag-Team Race

Welcome to the first Guild Event 2009. This event is a "Race" that gonna be in Tir Chonail. There's the details about this event:

Location: Tir Chonail - Channel 3 (Blacksmith)
** (Horses are unavailable) **

Event details
- Minimum of 5 teams for this event
- Total of run: 3-5 (depend of runners)
- Make a team of 3 (1 Human, 1 Elf, 1 Giant)
- Each team will have a special item for the race
- You have to take a position in your team to know when is your turn.
- The first team to finish the race win a point.
- The teams will receive their respective score and will be ready for another run.

Race Informations
- Race turn: Human, Elf, Giant
- When the race is started, the first runner must equip the special item and run around the course.
- At the end of the course, the runner must drop the special item to the next runner.
- The next runner must equip the special item and run around the course.

*Note: The next runner DO NOT take the dropping item from the other teams. Some penalities can be applied.

Scores and prices
Score board for points:

1st team: 10 points
2nd team: 8 points
3rd team: 5 points
4th team: 3 points
5th team: 1 point

Price board for winners:

1st place: 30 000 gold (10k each)
2nd place: 15 000 gold (5k each)
3rd place: 6 000 gold (2k each)

Course:

Interesting, but 9:00 est on a weekday? Not many people will be able to make it. I suggest you move it to mid afternoon est on a weekend.

but if i do like around 4-5pm .. all others in central timezone will be at school (1-2pm for them) .. or i can do this at 7:30pm ? (so 4:30pm for central time)

hm might want to add that you need to have pvp off and no pets allowed

Sounds like a Great idea to me except it would be nice if the race course where longer like perhaps around Dunbarton or from alby to cair or something to that effect...it would build more suspense

take a look at the race info, u'll see that is not only 1 race and there's 3 runners in your team so.. that's just perfect i think

Really? Because I only see the one race in Tir listed...or are you talking about how the race is going to be ran three times??

yes.. 3 times for the run. (1 for each: human, elf, giant)

it's a kind of competition about 3-5 runs total (after human, elf and giant are done) i'll give points to the team winners then get ready for another run. the scores are on the bottom of the Run info

oh and my idea is for elves and giants to turn on their pvp while running so we can pelt em with stones just to make it a little more fun for the onlookers. Hey it will draw a bigger crowd

Aze.. The reason why i do in the week it's because i work every weekends, otherwise i would do everything the weekend.

Hmmm....not so sure about the pelting idea. I mean, if a runner stops to throw stones at the competion, wouldn't that just slow them down? Or did you mean the onlookers to do the throwing? Knowing anyone wanting to ruin our fun, they'd run up and hit a runner. Personally, I say pvp off

Dunno how long itll take meh to fix it but atm im using A live version of Linux just so that i dont go mentally insane of boredom -.-. Hopefully i can gather the cash i need to fix it cause quite frankly this pc is dead to meh

The idea of the rocks throwing was to attract more people into joining and the competitors cannot hit eachother because they are the same race.
Oh and also Hide please tell Yushiro and everyone else that my parents took away my computer. . . Please and Thanks.

If it's all good for you, the Event will be tomorrow night around 7:30pm (Est) .. I would need you to submit your team with names here.

Teams of 3:
- Runner 1: Human
- Runner 2: Giant
- Runner 3: Elf

If we are not enough for the event, it will be delayed to the next week

well, i cannot make, wednesdays are by far the WORST day for me, as i have boy scouts from 6:30 till 9:00

Well if we can't do tommorow we'll try thursday otherwise we'll do next week
